It has a few places it leaks when heavy rain occurs. I drove across the lower 48 to get to Alaska and experienced heavy rains driving through Canada in the summer. Keeps all bugs out, somewhat difficult to assemble at first, but once you figure it out it’s easier, the rain fly didn’t protect some parts, it’s almost not big enough. Overall, very spacious inside, great tent if it’s not raining.

I received this tent as a gift in August last year and I've just been solo camping since. I finally got to set it up and use it this week. I've been tent camping for 35 or so years with super cheap Walmart special tents and more expensive ones. This tent has been the worst of them. It was a massive pain setting up, even on nice flag ground. The design of it is just not great for ease of setup. It definitely requires more than one person to set it up. I understand when a tent is new, it's maybe not quite stretched out and whatnot, but this one was so stressed at the points where the poles rested, on all of them. The tent stakes are super weak, but that's pretty standard, so I don't really fault them for that. The poles, however, are trash. The one for the "closet" area broke in the night at some point. The two main poles also had pieces break that I didn't see until we were taking the tent down since they were covered with the rain fly. I had considered finding a replacement pole for the closet until I saw the other two poles broken. I have serious regrets over not setting the tent up in the back yard last summer so I could see it was trash then and get a refund to buy something that doesn't fall apart during one very mild use of it for two days. The interior pocket locations are also in silly places. I would've expected it on the sides or something, but it's a long the back and up too high to easily grab something from it while you're in a sleeping bag. It's all so disappointing. It looked cute though. The "closet" was a neat idea, just not executed well.

We needed a bigger tent and this one definitely did us well. It was nice to be able to go inside and stand up with only a little ducking. (I am 5'9") My wife was able to stand up freely. (She is somewhat shorter) We got to the camp sight later then we had hoped and it was dark. The tent assembled well with us never having taken it from the box before then and putting it together in the dark. There are a few un-color coded peaces that were confusing but they were not of high importance. The pole for the back storage area splintered in assembly. It wasn't important but had it been a more important peace I would have been less happy with it. It wasn't though so I had a good time. I will ether reorder the peace or make something myself.

We just survived 60+ mph straight lines winds in Oklahoma! Rained for hours! Barely got wet! Out of 8 tents only 2 survived and this was one! Super happy with our first tent purchase! May order another as a backup soon! Easy to set up and take down! Wish it had a larger porch but we will fix that with a Tarp!

The description is very misleading. The second picture shows the tent to be 10' x 12' x 80" tall. This is why I bought it. Elsewhere it says 68". It's also not 10' x 12' , it's 6' x 12' with a little room on the back side. I put it up once, and used it for 2 days, and when I took it down I see one of the poles was broken! I can't send it back for a refund because it isn't " like new condition ". Just junk.

We have had this tent set up for a couple days now so I’ll give a few pros & cons.
Initial set up took me 35 minutes. I was by myself initially so it was a little time consuming going back to the directions for the next step. There are directions and they are pretty decent, keeping in mind they are written by people who know how to set it up so little things are missing/confusing. I don’t think it will take near as long the next time but 5 minutes is a stetch since it takes at least that to get everything out of the bag.

Pro’s: Very roomy, the little area that is holding the luggage in the pictures actually sticks out the back of the tent leaving all the floor space of the tent usable.
It’s fairly tall. I would say at least 5’9” in the center.
The windows are decent size and the front opening has two sided zippors on both the screen and solid panel.
Without the rain fly on it has better flow and the top is completely screened. Set up under some shade it should be nice.
The flooring is fully enclosed and the cord flap is off the ground and has a flap which should reduce bugs entering from there.
The door entrance is not ground level. Some may not like that but if you are concerned about bugs where you camp it’s a good thing.
It comes when the thin aluminum stakes and decent cord, but better stackes will help with securing it.

Cons: It is not even remotely waterproof or water resistant! We left it out over night and the dew (no rain) had it soaked through. Actually dripping on the floor. And that was with the “rain” fly on it.
It is very thin material. I doubt it would last more then a full season in regular use. And definitely will not hold up to heavy use. Probably Best as a 2 season tent with mild temps and dry weather.
The door screen is only 2/3rd of the opening, cutting back on the airflow.
It can get very warm in it with the rain fly on even with the windows and door open.
The flooring is basically thin tarp-like material so it is noisy, not terrible but you are going here any movement in the tent.

Update- I so want to like this tent. Ugh. We moved it under some trees to see if it would reduce the dew moisture but no suck luck. Just as wet! I didn’t Scotch guard it, it would take a lot. It really is not a good fit for Florida, to much humidity. I’m sad to do return it but, no point in keeping it. 😞
