This is a very lightweight self supporting and economical tent. Those were it's main selling points for me. I have several tents and have been backpacking the Sierra for decades. Pack weight is always an issue. Trade offs are made in deciding the gear to use. When I first climbed Whitney 3 decades ago I used my Eureka BackCountry (long out of production) tent which weighed 5.25 pounds. Since then I've added 2 other tents to my gear selection inventory, the Eureka BackCountry is now a "car camping" tent for me, although it's in excellent condition it's just too heavy compared to current backpacking tents. I've added this U'king 1 Person Camo Tent to my gear because of it's incredibly light weight which was achieved by eliminating a rainfly, relatively small size and using very light weight materials. My usual backpacking tent when I'm not hiking high elevation gain mountains past tree line is my Eureka Suma which weighs 4.25 pounds (spacious compared this tent)....I would also choose the Suma tent in early spring and late fall when weather could be more iffy. Back to this tent, it's not as sturdy as my other tents so it must be used carefully to prevent unintended damage. I always use a "ground cloth" to help protect all of my tent's "floors" from punctures, plus I carefully choose and examine where to put up the tent. Decades ago I used a vinyl poncho as the ground cloth, so it served two purposes....but it weighed over 8 ounces, Now I use "Tyvek" to help protect the floors of my tents, it's very light weight, most packers know what this is...you can find it on ebay. That lets me pack a more comfortable Gortex parka to wear if it rains/snows. My point is protect the floor of any tent you use. Don't be rough with the zippers...break the zipper on this tent and it'll be cheaper to buy a new tent then to repair the zipper...unless you can DIY. So here's the bottom line on this tent.... it's super light weight and has an excellent price. It also has a large door for it's size. It's self supporting. The camo coloring is nice. It sets up quick. BTW, for me weight is critical when hiking up past 10,000 feet elevation. For these reasons I give it 5 stars. Potential negatives? If you are over 5'10" tall you likely won't fit in it, even diagonally across it's floor. It's small inside. It's could still be a very tight fit depending on your pack size. This single wall tent likely won't keep you dry in an extended heavy storm...and spraying the fabric with a "water sealer" might comprise it's long term durability. Despite these potential downsides for some users, it still rates 5 stars for the specific backpacking purposes I'm using it for. As always YMMV....have fun out there. BTW, you might be able to find this tent on ebay for a few bucks less but it'll be shipped in it's minimal plastic bag with a shipping label stuck to it while Amazon shipped the tent in a sturdy box...much less chance for shipping damage in the box and you'll likely get it faster.

This tent came in a box without packaging. The fabric is not waterproof and the construction is terrible. I had gaping holes in 2/4 corners of the tent, seams open along several sides, and multiple tears in the fabric of the tent. We did not even set the tent up as it would have ripped apart with any tension. Twigs and leaves actually fell out of the tent when we opened it as if it was a used product. Even the carrying bag handle ripped off immediately as I picked it up. Please don’t waste time or money on this product.

It was easy to put up I only had one edge where the black string that holds your little plastic piece for your staked and the pole ripped out. I sprayed it down with waterproofing and we will see what happens. It was pretty bad there as soon as I’m putting it up one of the black things ripped right out I went through the tent and will see how that goes keeping bugs out.

Simple set up, very light and easy to carry in a backpack. I’ve used it a few times and it has worked well. I’ve slept in it in light rain, and it kept me dry. The air flow is a little hampered by the small opening, but the material is thin enough that it wasn’t too stuffy. And condensation was minimal. It’s light, simple to set up, fairly durable, and holds up well to normal use.

This is a great children's tent, but not an adult tent. It's not the best quality, but will last if taken care of. Not waterproof, but very lightweight. It's just WAY too short. I'm not that tall, I'm 5'10" and absolutely cannot straighten my legs out in this thing without being corner to corner MAYBE!

I bought it, read some reviews and was worried about rain. 3rd night in red river gorge it rained pretty good, and the inside stayed dry. It's a good beginner's tent, make sure you get a foam pad to sleep on or your gonna get cold! I would recommend for the price

This is a very lightweight camping tent, however the quality is at question. The framing is sufficient to maintain structure, and the exterior material seemed adequate for minor weather resistance. The stakes are inadequate for any breeze to wind speeds normally experienced, if you weight it with gear or body its okay...but less than desirable. Buy better stakes, they are about as purposeful as gills on a bird! The outer zipper was broken, only the liner net door worked therfore and I was quite cold all night without the weather resistant cover door zipped...though in my sleeping bag and it functional it may be fine. The outer carrying bag had a snag rip on arrival in the material, the same as the tent which is definitely not rip stop. I'd spend a little more money and buy a more substantial pop-up tent.

This tent was so lightweight, easy to set up, and functional that the hikers with me were jealous.
