Customers appreciate the tent's spaciousness. They find it easy to set up and take down for its size, with enough room for a full-sized air bed and side table. The sleeping area is large enough for four people, with a standard size in the sleeping area. There is a nice covered space to set chairs if it rains or when mosquitoes come out. The three sections are incredible for storage, but this is not a three-season tent.

Great tent, great air flow, small issues, unsure how it's "4 seasons" though.
3 out of 5 stars
Great tent, great air flow, small issues, unsure how it's "4 seasons" though.
I really love this tent, minus a few small things!I've had it up up two different times now, the first time was for about two nights in good weather, and the second time is now when it's been up for a week! We've had a lot of wind (tail end of hurricane winds) down pouring rain, thunderstorms, bright sunny days, you name it.Putting it to the test in Buffalo!I had a video of how windy it was so show, but didn't realize you can only put one vid in reviews (hHi, change that Amazon!)So I thought that the issue with the corner of my tent was more important to show than seeing how extremely windy it was and how the tent held up while being inside during heavy winds.I'm 5'4" and can very easily put this tent up by myself within a matter of 15 minutes, if I'm not rushing. The only hard part for me is getting the rain fly up alone! I'm short! What I do is tie one end of the rain fly in a knot and throw it over the tent!It adds enough weight to get it up and over for me. Then I go to the other side, undo the knot and secure it!No biggie!I have also slid the rain fly up and over the front of the tent, and then pulled it on that way too... On my tippy toes. 😆My biggest concern was that I was worried that the tent may leak through the top screen when it rains (the entire tent is a screen top!), but I was shockingly surprised that it performed great in the rain and high winds with rain fly on!One of my guy lines came loose, but that was it!The rain fly doesnt touch or rub against the screen top when properly attached.Inside the tent itself stayed completely dry, no leaks, no drips, nothing at all.(I did waterproof this tent when I got it as well, as I do with all my tents, so this wasn't tested before I used a waterproof spray.)Because of all the screens, it has great air flow! All the windows zip down, and you can leave the solid tent door open and have just the screen closed on the porch section. So nice to look out while laying in bed with a nice breeze!I did include pictures, but a few things I don't like is that the windows don't zip all the way around. The two sides zip up and then just a few hooks keep the top up.I wish they had full all-around zippers. As well as the vent! There is a vent on the back wall on the floor. Though I love the idea for extra air flow, there is no cover/zipper/anything that can close this. It is open at all times.(I'm going to make a cover/closure for it somehow.)I wish this could also be sealed off.It does have its own little rain fly piece for the vent on the outside that you stake farther out to protect from rain (no leaks or water came in through that during the heavy winds and rain either!), but still, I think having the option for it to fully close from the inside would be great. (That will cause a lot of drafts on cold nights!)Another thing I've seen is that this tent is stated as a "4 season"... Absolutely not! It's very drafty, and cold nights will be a problem. The screen top (even with rain fly on, that's still drafty and semi open to wind and air flow), the windows that don't fully close (you can put your hand at the top of them and feel the draft), and then that un-sealable vent on the floor. You will not stay warm on cold fall nights, winter camping, etc. without adjustments.I still plan to test this in the fall, as fall is my favorite time to camp, but I plan on creating a way to temporarily seal that vent, and windows, as well as use some type of tarp/emergency blankets/barrier inside the tent on the ceiling possibly, and between the outside top screen and the rain fly. We'll see how it works!I got the partial rain fly on mine, where it only covers part of the screen porch. There is an option for a rain fly that completely covers/encloses the screen porch also.-with the partial rain fly, I did get water in the front porch floor when we had bad winds and heavy rain. Not a huge deal to me, I unstaked the front porch corners and door and tipped the flooring around to drain the water out. No big deal! Wipe with a towel or let air dry. There is also a strip of netting that runs the length of the floor by the solid tent so as a drain as well.I'm still glad I got the partial rain fly though.I will be using an extra tarp to attach to the top front of the porch for rain next time, if needed!I don't store things in the porch or anything. Just a table and chairs that are fine if they get wet.If you plan to use that area for storage while you camp, get the full rain fly! Or definitely attach an extra tarp/canopy system to it.(I've attached a video of this.) My biggest issue is that the back corner doesn't touch the ground, and doesn't seem to assemble properly.Ive set this tent up multiple times, have readjusted that corner and the entire tent to try to get that corner to properly touch the ground and stake down. It's not happening.I feel like the seam that runs up and down (From top roof to that bottom corner) on that corner is too short.I've literally adjusted everything on this tent to see if it helps that corner stake down and lay properly, but no luck.(When looking at the tent from the outside facing the back of the tent, it's the right corner. Or the back left corner if you're standing inside the tent. Just in case any other reviews say the same about that corner?)I worry that the tightness on that seam is going to cause issues/holes to the fabric over time. It's pretty tight. If I try to stake that corner inwards towards the tent, the floor inside the tent is extremely warped and not smooth at all, and the walls also aren't smooth. I worry that water will get in if it rains and the walls aren't taught. No amount of adjusting helps this situation. I've spent probably an hour or more between multiple set ups, to try to adjust the tent to make it work and fix that corner to no luck.I've had many many tents over the years and I've never had this issue before.I'm very frustrated with this aspect, but I haven't had any issues due to it not being right so far.I feel it will cause issues in the future though. There could be more Velcro attachments on the rain fly to attach to the tent poles. There aren't enough, and they honestly aren't very strong. A few came unattached during winds, but caused no issues to the rain fly staying on or anything.Weight wise when packed up, isn't not too bad but does have some weight to it! All tents do unless you're looking for a backpacking tent. This is not that!It was veerryy easy to pack back up into the original bag!If you turn the tent bag upside down, there is a strip of fabric you're supposed to pull. This then expands the bottom of the bag for the tent to fit back in after.I've seen many say it doesn't fit back in, but I'm pretty sure they're not doing that with the bag.It was very easy to pack away for me.Some have mentioned (I read so many reviews on this before I purchased) that the screen material is flimsy and easily get holes in it.I kind of disagree!Any material like this will be more fragile and easier to snag things on than a solid tent material, that's a given.Mine didn't arrive with any holes already in the screens, and I feel like the screens are pretty solid and durable! My dog has an issue with not knowing what screens are and keeps trying to walk through them, not around them 😆With her face planting against it, smooshing her nose, stepping on it with her feet and nails, nothing has caused any rips or holes!Be gentle-ish with it and it will be fine! All in all, I really do love this tent and it was a great price! I got it during Prime Days also.I wish a few small things were different, but I love it and am really happy I got it!

We go on extended camping trips and take more
than average clothes, boots, etc... I love the amount of space for use and all our gear. My biggest concern was height on the wall sides being vertical enough to stand up in when walking around the queen bed we use, that's on a bed stand. I could not have been happier. The walls are pretty darn close to straight up, so when you get out of bed you can easily stand without touching the walls.

Ours is the 6 person version with the full rain fly and it's amazing the space that the screened porch adds to getting in and out without getting the bed area wet or dirty when coming in from the elements.

We have camped for almost 50 yrs and this may be my favorite tent ever.

My husband and I put it up and done, in less than 20 minutes on our 1st setup. No issues. Watch the setup video that they have with the product info, after that, following the instructions with the tent is a breeze. Poles are heavy duty, and so far the zippers (which is always the 1st to go with us) glide effortlessly with nice big grippers, so they are easy to use. The door openings are wonderful. They are wide so you can move stuff in and out easily without getting caught up. Sleeping under the stars without the rain fly is our preference and the screen mesh windows and ceiling is great for viewing and ventilation, but if needed rainfly up in seconds if surprise storm comes thru.

Have only used once, just got the tent. But from experience, I can tell, this is a great purchase.

    Style: 6-person Enclosed PorchVerified Purchase
This review is for the six person tent with the weatherproof screen room.

    Summary
Lots of floorspace, huge windows, great ventilation, and a weatherproof screen room are some of the wonderful features that makes this tent an obvious choice for warm weather "glamping" in rainy areas. Beware that the abundance of mesh makes this tent a poor choice for cold weather camping, and the heavy weight (30+lbs) is not ideal if you plan on hiking to your camping spot.

    Tent Dimensions
    - The bedroom is 9ft long x 10ft wide
    - The screen room is 4ft long x 10ft wide
    - The vestibule extends out an additional 3ft
    - The tent stands at 6ft 4in high at the tallest point
    - Without the rainfly (and therefore without the vestibule), the total dimensions are 13ft long x 10ft wide
    - With the rainfly (including the vestibule), the total dimensions are 16ft long x 10ft wide

    Pros
    - Phenomenal ventilation, even with the rainfly on
    - Extremely spacious interior: can (barely) fit 2 queen-sized air mattresses side-by-side
    - Huge, beautiful windows
    - The screen room is amazing! Great place to setup some chairs for bug-free lounging. The screen room also helps keep mud out of the bedroom
    - Multiple storage pouches
    - Relatively easy to setup (appx 15 minutes with 2 people)
    - Has port for extension cord. The port has a zipper to keep out bugs
    - Can stand up inside the tent (6ft 4in tall in center)
    - Vestibule area in the front of the tent is convenient for stowing gear out of the rain
    - Floor vent helps with air ventilation when the windows must be zipped up during rain

    Cons
    - Very heavy (30+ lbs)
    - No good place to hang a tent light (the ceiling is entirely mesh)
    - Storage pouches are high on the walls, which means you must stand up to access the contents
    - The screen room DOES protect against rain but DOES NOT protect against flooding ground water. The screen room only has tub floors on 3 sides... the front is mesh only. So flooding water could pour in from the front. However, part of the floor in the screen room is mesh, which helps to drain the water. Please note that this issue would only arise in a flood, not a simple rainfall
    - Screen room doesn't completely zip up, there is a small gap between the zippers which lets bugs inside
    - Coleman could've picked better colors. This thing looks like it's from the 90s
    - The rainfly only has partial coverage, which isn't ideal for camping in heavy rainfall. The windows must be zipped up when it's raining, which will contribute to heat buildup inside
    - Lots of mesh = great ventilation for warm nights... but contributes to poor insulation for cold weather camping. This tent is built for 2 seasons (late spring, summer, early fall)
    - Expensive
    - Stakes aren't heavy duty. May need to replace after several uses

    Pros:
    1. It's spacious as advertised. 6 people is pushing. But definitely 5 people is doable. We had 4 in it and there was plenty of empty space.
    2. When set up, it's sturdy.
    3. There are many ventilation knock outs with bug screens and privacy curtains. when all the curtains are drawn up, you have a panoramic view all around you.
    4. The entry point is quite large even with rain fly that you don't have to bend down to crawl into the tent. I have a smaller Coleman tent for 4 people and it's a bit of pain to go in and out of the tent with that.
    Cons:
    1. Setup is easy but not so easy. as you push in the bars, you kind of need to keep the tent up but it would not stay up as the bars go parallel to each other. So it keeps collapsing to one side. YOu will need to put a couple of temp stakes to hold each side of the tent as you build it.
    2. Coleman's chronic issue with the bag continues. They make the bag way too small. When you try to put everything back in the bag, you will struggle and swear. But thankfully this one comes with a zipper at the bottom to make the bag larger when it's undone. There is absolutely no way to put all back in the bag w/o using the zipper. Even after expansion, I could barely fit all in the bag. Now it's sitting on the shelf expanded and bloated looking twice as large as the bag I got from Amazon.
When I set it up, I feel content with the look, space and functions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge Tent.... Sturdy!!.. tested by Typhoon!

1st time i used this tent out from the box, August 22 (Typhoon season in the philippines...) Pitching this in front of the beach in Bataan area while raining and 2nd time in Tanay Rizal Sept.18. I really can recommend this.
Pros: Big Space ( Did not expect how big this one is), Huges window, nice ventilation, Enclosed Screened Porch - extra space where you can put all your things away from the element is very nice and prevent insect..
Cons: **the windows, During the rain you can not leave the windows open, water drippings from the rainfly directly in to the window.
**Takes 2 person to set up/ 1 person w/longer time
    Very Satisfied!...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best tent for family camping

I LOVE this tent. Thanks Coleman for making such a good tent with such a price. The extra room in the front offers so much convenience. It can be used for a change room, a middle place between outside and bedroom, it cuts down a great amount of dirt in the bedroom. Also, no need to be stressful when you are getting out of the tent.
Very easy to set up. Strongly recommend this version, tent with weatherproof screen room. After the thunder storm, no leaking inside the tent. It's prefect for front country family camping.

(not recommend for backcountry camping, it's quite heavy.)

    Big thumb up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Top Zelt

This tent ticks all the boxes. It has 360 degree view with large windows and a grand entrance with top-to-bottom mesh; keeping the bugs away while letting the cool breeze from the sea. No leakage from the top and the bottom after heavy rain. It was perfectly dry inside. It felt like your own tiny cabin rather than a tent. The size is perfect for a couple or a solo camper.
