We are “Best Destination,” a travel company based in Osaka. This tour offers you three distinct activities.
First, enjoy a delicious lunch at Café Lapin, where the activities will take place.
Then, experience a traditional matcha tea ceremony conducted by a professional instructor. You will learn the proper etiquette and enjoy a demonstration by a skilled tea master.
Next, you’ll participate in a Japanese sweets-making session guided by the third-generation owner of a long-established wagashi shop in Sakai City. With extensive experience teaching abroad, he will provide expert instruction.
Finally, you’ll try your hand at tsumami-zaiku, a traditional craft that involves folding small squares of silk or chirimen fabric with tweezers to create intricate patterns of seasonal flowers and butterflies. This technique has been passed down since the Edo period. You will make an accessory to take home as a beautiful souvenir from Japan.
